These terms govern use of 4duidefense.com, a website for 4DUI Defense, part of Drivers Legal Defense, P.C. A separate engagement agreement governs legal representation. If you do not agree to these terms, discontinue website use; you may contact the firm by telephone.
Information, not case-specific legal advice
The site contains attorney advertising and general information about California DUI, DMV and license matters. It is not legal advice tailored to you. Laws, procedures and eligibility change, and general explanations may not fit your facts. Do not act or refrain from acting solely because of website content. Have an attorney review your circumstances and confirm driving privileges with DMV before driving.
Representation, inquiries and deadlines
Viewing the site, calling or submitting a form does not by itself hire the firm or establish an attorney-client relationship. Representation begins after the firm agrees to represent you and confirms the scope and terms in an engagement agreement. A form success message confirms receipt of a request, not acceptance of a case, conflict clearance or completed legal work.
The firm does not undertake to protect or monitor a deadline merely because you submit an inquiry. Contacting us does not request a DMV hearing, file a court document or change a court date. Do not rely on an unanswered inquiry. Call promptly if a deadline is approaching and independently confirm the action required. A free initial consultation does not include representation or promise a service or outcome.
Information you submit
Provide accurate contact details and information you are authorized to share. Use the form for a brief initial inquiry, not confidential documents or detailed case information. Online communication is not guaranteed secure. The firm’s legal and ethical duties to clients and prospective clients remain in effect. These terms do not waive those duties or rights that cannot lawfully be waived.
Providing contact details allows the firm to reply about your inquiry. It does not authorize unrelated marketing, automated promotional messages or optional analytics and session recordings. Those tools use the separate privacy choice described in our privacy policy.
Experience, outcomes and illustrations
Past results and experience do not guarantee an outcome. “Thousands of clients served” describes the firm’s overall history, not DUI cases alone. Employment of a retired DMV hearing officer does not imply current DMV affiliation, endorsement, influence or guaranteed results. Images show illustrative scenes and fictional people, not actual staff, clients, cases, arrests, offices or court premises.
Permitted use and intellectual property
You may use the site for lawful personal research and service inquiries. Content and branding are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. Except as law permits, do not reproduce, republish or commercially exploit them without authorization. Do not submit spam or malicious material, impersonate others, attempt unauthorized access, evade security controls or interfere with the site or its users.
Availability and third-party services
The site and information are provided as available. We do not promise uninterrupted access, error-free delivery or that all content remains current. External links are for convenience; the firm does not control those services or their content. Third-party services may have their own terms. Outages or delayed responses do not extend legal deadlines.
Website warranties and liability limits
To the extent permitted by applicable law, the firm disclaims implied warranties concerning the website and general informational content, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and noninfringement. To that extent, the firm and its website service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, special or consequential losses from website use, inability to use the website or reliance on general website content.
These website limitations do not limit liability for legal representation, malpractice, fraud, willful misconduct or any liability or remedy that law does not permit us to exclude. They do not alter an engagement agreement or impose an arbitration requirement.
Applicable law, updates and contact
California law governs these website terms to the extent consistent with applicable mandatory law. If a provision cannot be enforced, remaining provisions continue to the extent permitted. Updates will be posted with a revised effective date; changes do not retroactively amend an existing engagement agreement.
